We have been dancing Lithuanian folk dances from youth. During college years, we participated in Vilnius University Folk Dance and Song Ensemble (Rita) and Kaunas Institute of Medicine Folk Dance Group (Arnoldas). We are very pleased to be able to continue our avocation in San Diego “Jura” and to be able to contribute to the upholding and popularizing of Lithuanian culture.

I am 9 years old. I joined “Jura” together with my parents in 2001. I am learning to dance and I help Giedre with refreshments for the dancers. I also take care of my younger friends, future “Jura” dancers Gabija, Andrius, and Rokas.
